Our Story So Far

Sunset Church began over 40 years ago as a small but dedicated group of Christians who established the Pentecostal Church of Nashwaaksis on Bloor St.

In 1975 the congregation built a new facility on Clements Drive, and became Sunset Drive Pentecostal Church.

In September of 1996, Pastor Joe Beesley was given the mandate of leading our congregation. Since then we have seen our church family grow dramatically, in both numbers and ministry.

To accomodate our growing numbers Sunset Church once again took on a building program in 2002. On Easter Sunday 2005 we opened the doors to our current sanctuary. Praise God for His "Provision for the Vision"!

We take pride in our past and praise the Lord for every memory of sacrificing saints and pastors who together have provided the opportunity of an exciting and much anticipated future.
