Fall Breakfast

Recently Pastor Beesley went on a missions trip which included a visit to Stella House in Moldova where God demonstrated to him in a very tangible way what it means to be an orphan and then experience adoption/redemption. As a result of that trip, and subsequent events, the ladies of Sunset Church were privileged to have five girls from Stella House be their guests at the Ladies’ Fall Breakfast.

A wonderful buffet was prepared by Chef Chris Taylor, from the Delta Hotel. The meal was delicious, beautifully presented and the ladies had a wonderful time of fellowship.

Sarah Ecker, our youth pastor’s new bride, shared her ministry of music with the song “Oh How He Loves Me” and then we met our five guests: Dasa, Natalie, Constantia, Nadia and Irina. They shared their wonderful testimony of how their lives have been changed through the ministry of Stella House.

Each lady attending the breakfast brought in winter accessories for Stella House and we were able to fill many large bags with goodies to be sent back to Moldova.

Karen Ridley of KreationsbyKaren crafted a bracelet for each girl as well as having a display table of her goods.

Thanks our youth, Emma, Janessa, Morgyn and Hailey for volunteering to bus our tables and Caleb for assisting in the sound booth.

A great morning was had by all!
